SWITCH

A step towards ecological transition

The SWITCH project aims to raise young people's awareness on pollution linked to our consumerist society, in particular on our waste management.

The Erasmus+ agency is at the initiative of this project, of which the Atelier D'éco Solidaire is the laureate as initiator and promoter.

SWITCH brings together a consortium of 4 actors in the field of ecology and social inclusion: the Recyclerie créative in Bordeaux, IFRASS in Toulouse, TRINIJOVE in Barcelona and the network YEE in Prague.

Actors involved in the implementation of the SWITCH project

ATELIER D'éco SOLIDAIRE

The little plus of the recycling centre: it offers unique and original creations made from reused materials, and participates in a local job creation dynamic that facilitates the development of artistic craftsmanship.

TRINIJOVE

The foundation has been offering specific training in entrepreneurship since 2003, and includes a social and community art centre. The emphasis is on creativity, autonomy and self-esteem.

YEE

Youth and Environment Europe based in Prague.

YEE is a European network of youth NGOs that raises awareness on the climate crisis and includes young people in environmental and climate decision-making processes. Our partner is located in Prague as the Czech Republic branch of YEE.

IFRASS

Institute of Training, Research, Animation, Health and Social
For more than 20 years, IFRASS has been offering training to social workers in a socio-constructivist approach.

WEBDOC "Understanding Externalities"

The first phase of the project consists of the analysis and study of the positive and negative externalities of our consumer society with "waste" as a working medium. This research was accompanied by an introduction to the professions of reuse and ecological transition through visits and workshops.

The webdoc presents you the results of the research undergone by the group of youngsters taking part in the project.

Eco-entrepreneurship Training

02 is the second phase of the SWITCH project.

It consists of a support for young project leaders via training in eco-entrepreneurship, divided into 4 learning modules:

It consists of a project marathon, linked to 02, the eco-entrepreneurship training for young project leaders.
